ken rich (composer)

Ken Rich (composer) has written music for HBO, VH1, Macy's, the NBA, and the WNBA. He has recorded as a bassist with Lou Reed, David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, Shabba Ranks, and Deborah Harry. Film credits include Whipped directed by Peter Cohen, The United States of Poetry directed by Mark Pellington, and Sex, Drugs, and Democracy directed by Jonathan Blank. Ken currently performs live with Babatunde Olatunji, Hugh Pool, his own band Miami Relatives, and has toured throughout the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, and the Middle East. Mr. Rich has produced/arranged and engineered for Larry Coryell, Tracy Bonham, Julia Darling, Mike Errico, Ivy Markaity, Jake Stigers, Bari Koral, Daniel Harnett, and Harland. Recently, he has been putting the finishing touches on the debut album for Miami Relatives. Mr. Rich is a graduate of Oberlin College with a degree in Philosophy.
